The existing Cancer Center is located on the Kingman Regional Medical Center Campus in the adjacent Medical Office Building. Due to demand, the client requested we renovate, remodel and expand the existing center, doubling its size, while keeping the facility fully operational. Construction required three phases:

 

Phase 1: Addition of a second Linear Accelerator and associated support areas, +/- 1,850 square feet. During this phase, site work included adding 11 new standard parking spaces & 9 handicap spaces, improving accessibility and circulation.

 

Phase 2: A second addition of +/- 700 square feet of new offices & exam areas was used to alleviate transitional moves during the phased construction, allowing staff & patients shorter wait times and flexible locations for treatments.

 

Phase 3: The final remodel of +/- 13,300 square feet increased staff office & support areas
and doubled patient infusion to 24 bays. This area remained operational while construction
proceeded.
