

Duane Ray
Prinicpal
Since becoming a registered architect in 1981 Mr. Ray has been designing a broad spectrum of projects including advanced technology industrial fabrication plants, high-end commercial office buildings, hospital and medical installations, medical and office tenant improvements, and single family custom residential. For 24 years, from 1982 to 2006, Mr. Ray was the owner and principal architect for his firm Duane Ray Architects. The firm provided all architectural services for Scottsdale Medical Imaging Ltd (SMIL), EVDI Medical Imaging and Arizona Bone and Joint Specialists. In 2006, Duane Ray Architects and Morfeld Associates merged to create Morfeld Ray Architects. The firm continues to service existing clients such as SMIL and Kingman Regional Medical Center with new growth in healthcare markets in Flagstaff, Winslow, Cottonwood, Prescott and the Valley.

Mike Morfeld
Prinicpal
Mike is a Principal of Morfeld Ray Architects bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the architectural field, most of it in the healthcare environment. He has extensive experience coordinating complex projects, working with clients and consultants to ensure that design goals are implemented throughout the contract document and construction process. Prior to combining forces and creating Morfeld Ray Architects, Mike was the principle of his own firm Morfeld Associates from 2001-2006. During this period Mr. Morfeld established lasting ties with the rural medical community of Northern Arizona. Working exclusively in the medical field, he provided much needed technical services to the outlying areas of Kingman, Flagstaff, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, Winslow, and Cottonwood Arizona.

Brei Brooks
Project Architect
Brei obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from ASU's Design School, and shortly thereafter joined MRA. Since 2008, Brei has been responsible for the design and project management of a diverse range of healthcare projects including: highly technical imaging centers, hospital expansion and renovation, medical office buildings and tenant improvements. Brei has extensive experience through all phases of project development from programming through construction administration. She has served as the point of contact for the client, contractor, consultants and equipment vendors and on all occasions has led those teams to the successful completion of her projects on time and on budget.

Melissa Mayr
Project Manager
Melissa joined the MRA team in May of 2014 as an architectural intern from Arizona State University, where she obtained both her bachelor's and master's degrees; she is currently in the process of securing her architectural license. Melissa is the design project manager for all Kingman Regional Medical Center related work and focuses primarily on project coordination and design execution between the hospital staff and the MRA design team. She specializes in creating 3D renderings of interior and exterior medical spaces which convey design layout and overall intention to the staff and hospital administration.

Nate Goegelein
Drafter
Upon joining the MRA team in March of 2008, Nate has brought a new way of thinking. Taking hold of the Drafting Department, Nate inspired many creative and unique designs that have been highly considered and still talked about today. As a graduate of Anthem College in March of 2008, with an Associates of Science Degree in Drafting Technology, Nate utilized his knowledge on many projects. While at Anthem College, Nate earned a certificate as a Certified Drafter with ADDA. He also enjoys the position of team captain of the inter-office chair racing team and foresees taking his team to the championships.
